Bombarded my numerous types of Layouts

Hi Everyone,

I recently started learning android programming by following some tutorials on youtube and some basic courses on udacity. While following these tutorials, one concept that bothered me a lot was layouts, I mean I understood the basics of it, like the basic functionalities of linear, relative and constraint layout. But the more I dug through, I found more types of layouts(Frame, Coordinator, etc)

Is there a standard as to which layout is to be used in a particular scenario? (silly argument: we can build any page using just the linear layout, right? xD)

I am about to start working on a full fledged app and this would certainly help me make good decisions regarding my layout design.
