Is it just me, or is concurrency in Kotlin complicated?

async, launch, dispatchers, structured concurrency, runBlocking, scope, channels, context, suspend and what not. Then there’s Retrofit and okhttp, and their way of doing things.

I don’t come from Java world, so I am not too familiar with threads, locks etc.

Is there a book I can read or a good course? Or some other resource you can recommend?

I went through the hands-on lab and found it good, but I still don’t feel confident.

PS: if anyone from JetBrains is reading this, are you planning to release book about it? I went through Kotlin in Action, which was awesome.
