Kotlin Multiplatform seems promising. What do you think?

I was surprised to see Kotlin Multiplatform come out and saw it. I am very interested because it seems like something Google should’ve done instead of trying to put out Flutter in an entirely different language right when they said Kotlin will be the next programming language for Android. There is also some support behind it. I really like Swift TBH, but it seems like an actual solution to the mobile problem since let’s be real. Both platforms just copy each other.

Main concern is Open Source and that it’s in Beta. That means if you want to fix it, you can’t do anything about it and you have to wait for a corporation which doesn’t care about a hobbyist developer or startup as compared to say one of their backers like Netflix.

Edit: You can make contributions to the code. It’s like Base Android source code.
