Got a backend interview tomorrow and need advice!

So I have an interview for a Kotlin role for a sports betting company – specifically backend. Only problem is I’ve been an Android developer for the last 3 years, obviously they know this as it’s the 2nd stage interview with their head of platforms.

I’ve just made a basic API with Spring boot and Kotlin to get me started. I’ve also talked with chatGPT about backend, where it highlighted databases, microservices and testing.

Now I’ve also done lots of test driven development on Android but is it the same? The job description also mentions Vertx (some sort of event based messaging system? non blocking?) activeMq/Rabbit/Kafka.

Any advice, obviously I can’t become an expert but anything essential to learn or test build in the next 24 hours?
